Summary[edit]
DescriptionEvening Star at Goathland (Geograph 6039075).jpg |
English: Evening Star at Goathland
BR Standard 9F 92220 Evening Star leaves Goathland for Pickering. This was the last steam locomotive built by British Railways and is part of the National Railway Museum collection. At this time, the NYMR was closed between Goathland and Grosmont following a landslip. For 2 months, 92220 and another locomotive (80135) were isolated from the depot and the main line. |
